(Dan Tri) – Israel issued an urgent warning, asking civilians in Gaza to move south of the strip of land, otherwise they could be considered supporters of Hamas forces.

Reuters reported that Palestinians living in Gaza said they received requests from the Israeli military that they need to move from the north to the south of the narrow strip of land.

In this emergency message, Israel added a warning that anyone who does not leave could be considered a supporter of Hamas forces.

Israel’s warning message is distributed through leaflets stamped by the country’s defense forces (IDF).

Israel has continuously bombed Gaza since Hamas forces launched a deadly attack on Tel Aviv-controlled areas on October 7.

Israel claims not to target civilians.

Israel has urged residents in northern Gaza to move south, but Palestinians said they had not previously been told that they could be considered Hamas supporters if they did not leave.

Palestinians also say moving south remains risky amid continued Israeli airstrikes and areas south of Gaza also under attack.

According to Gaza health authorities, 4,651 Palestinians have died since the conflict between Hamas and Israel broke out on October 7.

Meanwhile, Tel Aviv recorded 1,400 deaths and Hamas took 212 people hostage in the past 2 weeks, most of them Jews.

On the other hand, today a humanitarian convoy of 17 vehicles continued to cross the Egyptian border into the Gaza Strip.

The United Nations says about 1 million people in Gaza, nearly half of the strip’s total population, have been displaced since Israeli air strikes retaliated against Hamas.

Some 600,000 displaced people are currently between Gaza and the southern cities of Khan Yunis and Rafah.
